William Johnson, Jr

age 88 of Clarksville passed away Monday, July 18, 2016. Visitation Monday, July 25, 2016 12:00 noon-7:00 p.m. with the family present 5:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m. at Foston Funeral Home. Graveside Tuesday, July 26, 2016  11:00 a.m. at Resthaven Memorial Garden. He was born October 24, 1927 in Clarksville, TN to William R.  Johnson, Sr and Ida Nolen Johnson. He is preceded in death by his parents and his wife Gertrude Johnson. He leaves to cherish his loving memory sons, Bernard Nelson, Clarksville, TN and Richard Nicholson, Greensboro, NC; daughter, Nicole(Tim) Saunders, Clarksville,TN and Julia Lane, Greensboro, NC; daughter-in-law, Dlora Nicholson, Clarksville, TN; grandchildren, Shalia and Dashawna Saunders, Tonya Lane, Kiwanis Hill and Daimen Nicholson and devoted niece, Pat Howie and a host of nieces and nephews and other family and friends.
