Tikoreus "Ty" Gold

Tikoreus Immanuel’s earthly journey began on Wednesday, February 19, 1997, in Clarksville, Montgomery County, Tennessee, to loving parents, Melony Gold and Eric McCoin. His sister, Mary Gold; grandfather, John Killebrew and uncle, Tyrus Northington preceded him in death. 

 He professed his love for Christ at an early age and was a member of The Liberty Church. 

 Affectionately called “Ty” by loved ones, he received his formal education in the Clarksville-Montgomery County School System and he was a graduate of Kenwood High School with the Class of 2015. Furthering his education, he enrolled in Lincoln College of Technology and in 2017, earned an Automotive Service Technology Degree. He enjoyed employment with Wildcat Chevrolet as an automotive mechanic.

 Tikoreus had a heart of gold. He never met a stranger and always greeted everyone with a smile. He enjoyed spending quality time with his children, family and friends. His laughter was contagious. He loved working with his hands, repairing cars was not just a job. He was a fan of Morgan Wallen, and country music in general. You may have seen him rocking his cowboy boots. It’s a safe bet that whenever you saw him, you were in for a good time. He was a Titans football fan. All who knew and loved him will sorely miss his presence and smiling face.

 On Monday, July 29, 2024, Tikoreus departed this life to be with the Lord. 

 He leaves to cherish precious memories his daughters: Imani Gold and Kourtney Gold; mother, Melony Gold; father, Eric (Teresa) McCoin; sisters: Jessika Smith (Daunte) Majors, Ashley Gold, Tionna Scott, Tariyah McCoin and Ta’Mia Scott; brothers: Elijah McCoin, Jaryn Young, Isaiah (Shade’) McCoin and Marice Wright, all of Clarksville, TN; grandparents: Mary N. Killebrew, Glendale Gold, Bertha Babb, David Carrera and Jacqueline Wilson; fiancée’, Faith Anne Hughes; god-sister, Malon Smith; aunts: Rivell (Joseph, III) Chatman, LaCresha Alvis; uncles: Curtis McCoin, Montez Gold, D’errico Wylie, Devon Wylie and Darius Wylie and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
