Sonja Lorene Williams was born to Cynthia M. Williams and the late Walter L. Foster, Jr., on November 15, 1979 in South Bend, Indiana.Sonja accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior at a young age and developed a passion for witnessing. She was small in stature but her love, care strength, bold energy, determination she gave to others elevated her to higher heights. She would always lend an ear, a smile and a helping hand. She had a beautiful musical gift of singing from the age of five. She joined the choir and later became the youth choir director, usher, Sunday School teacher, and praise and worship leader to include using her gift as a drummer in various churches. Sonja’s dream was fulfilled when she went on an Evangelistic Mission Trip to Haiti.Sonja was a loving mother, daughter, sister and aunt. She loved spending her time with her family and friends, having gatherings at her home and being a phenomenal hostess. No family members or friends was ever to far for Sonja to visit.Sonja received her education in the Clarksville-Montgomery County School System and graduated from Northwest High School in 1998. She was an active member of JROTC. She pursued her career and was employed at Hallmark, Kirkland’s, Planter’s Bank and Reliant Bank (formerly First Advantage Bank) retiring as Vice President. She loved spending time with her son, Ty’Rhez enjoying many movie nights and laughter, playing board games, and cheering him on at his baseball games. Traveling was her passion as she enjoyed visiting different states and several islands; from exploring the clear blue waters to walking on the sandy beaches far and wide with her son. She loved collecting magnets from every state and island she visited. She loved doing her own hairstyles (which were many), doing her own manicure, pedicure and eyelashes.
