Shirley Keesee

Shirley Keesee age 87 of Clarksville passed away Monday, November 20,2023.  Viewing Thursday, November 30, 2023, 2:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m. with the family present 5:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m. at Foston Funeral Home. Celebration of Life 1:00 p.m. Friday, December 1, 2023, at Martin Chapel AME Church. Interment Martin Chapel AME Church Cemetery. 
Shirley was born June 13, 1936, in Clarksville, TN to Robert and Anna Weakley. She was a 1964 graduate of historical Burt High School. She is preceded in death by her husband, Ardis Keesee Jr, parents, sister, Mattie Elizabeth Tanner. 
Shirley was employed as a Machine Operator at Acme Boot Company for over twenty years. She also enjoyed employment as a “Granny” for the Montgomery County Head Start Program.  
Shirley leaves many precious memories to be cherished by her children Michael Keesee, David (Bonnie) Keesee, Lora Keesee, and Katrina Joyner; 14 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren, a host of family and friends.
