Shelia Ann, daughter of Hallie Christine Johnson Ellis and James Walls, began her earthly journey on May 22, 1953 in Clarksville, Tennessee. Her parents and sister, Claudetta Rudolph preceded her in death.
She accepted Jesus Christ as her personal Lord and Savior at a young age. And currently a member of Calvary Missionary Baptist Church.
Shelia attended Clarksville High School and furthered her education by joining the Job Core. She worked in childcare services and Austin Peay State University. And was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and Elks’ Lodge.
She enjoyed cooking, baking and spending time with her family and friends. She was a loving woman to everyone and her presence and beautiful smile will be missed dearly.
On Thursday, March 31, 2022, Shelia answered God’s beckoning call to cease from her earthly labors and enter into the Master’s joy.
She leaves to cherish loving memories, her daughters: Yerlondra (Willie) Young, San Antonio, TX, Margaret (Richard) Elliott, Clarksville, TN; son, Marlon O. Walls, Nashville, TN; step-daughters: Tiffany Stewart, Catherine O’Neal and Deborah O’Neal; grandchildren: DeAndre Tapia, San Antonio, TX, Donte Cunningham and Kyla Cunningham, Clarksville, TN; six great-grandchildren; ; sisters: Sherrie Glass, Kathy (Walter) Stacker and Lisa Ellis, all of Clarksville, TN; brothers: James (Patricia) Walls and Mansfield (Ernestine) Ellis, all of Nashville, TN; godsons: Henry Everette, New York, NY and Tory Holmes, Clarksville, TN and a host of other relatives and friends.
Viewing 12:00 p.m.-1:00 p.m. Thursday, April 7, 2022, with the funeral service to folloaw at 1:00p.m. at Calvary Missionary Baptist Church> Interment Evergreen Cemetery.
