Sharman Sowell

Sharman’s earthly journey began in Franklin, Tennessee on October 19, 1962 with loving parents, Thomas Cotton, Sr., and Loretta Bonner Wright. Her father and two brothers: Milton Cotton and Thomas Cotton preceded her in death.  On Tuesday, April 12, 2022, Sharman departed this life to be with the Lord.She leaves to cherish precious memories, her  daughters: Edwina Monique Cotton, Monica (Marvin) Bennie, all of Cincinnati, OH and Christine (Kurtis) Gaston,  Adams, TN; sons: Jerome Cotton, S., Burns, TN, Anthony Cotton, Pontiac, MI, James Harris, Jr., Lucasville, OH and Jerard Harris, Phoenix, AZ,; mother, Loretta Wright, Springhill, TN; sisters: Audrey Cotton, Pontiac, MI and Tequita (Dennis, Sr.) Pounds, Springhill, TN; brothers: Joseph (Feleci) Wright, Columbus, SC, Derrick (Sharon) Wright, Murfreesboro, TN, Jeremiah (Sharonda) Wright, Columbia, TN; 19 grandchildren plus one due in August and one great-grandchild; aunts: Patricia Lockridge, Flora Hicks, Ida Elam, Louellen Porter, Thelma Adkinson and Frances Bonner; uncles: Steve Bonner, James Cotton, Tommie Manning and William Cotton and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Funeral service 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 23, 2022 at Amazing Grace Aposolic Church. Interment Spratt Cemetery, Springhill, TN.
