Rudy was born November 16, 1941 in Montgomery County to Alvin Harris, Sr and Mattie Bell Harris. Rudy was a member of Spring Hill Missionary Baptist Church.
He leaves to cherish his loving memoires wife, Mary E. Harris; sons, Tony Ray Harris, Clarksville, TN, Ricardo L. Harris, Nashville, TN and Detric V. Harris, Murfreesboro, TN; 7 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren; nieces and nephews, Richard O'Neal, Lamont Harris, Earnest Harris, Tyrone Harris, Wynema O'Neal and Christine Harris, a host of family and friends.
