Rosalyn Brown

Rosalyn Lorraine began her earthly journey on Tuesday, July 18, 1967 at Memorial Hospital in Clarksville, Montgomery County, Tennessee, the daughter of Katherine Ellis-Wells. Rosalyn was raised by her grandparents, William H. Ellis and Lorine Anderson-Ellis. Her grandparents; uncles: Parker L. Anderson, Aubrey D. Ellis, Frederick E. Ellis, Sr., William H. Lisenbee, Ronzie L. Ellis, Sr., and Frank Edward Ellis; aunts: Francis Jackson and Mona D. Ellis-Pewee preceded her in death.

She accepted Jesus Christ as her personal Lord and Savior at an early age and was baptized at Greenhill Baptist Church in Clarksville, Tennessee.

Rosalyn received her education in the Clarksville-Montgomery County School System where she attended Woodlawn Elementary, New Providence Junior High and Northwest High School but graduated from Northern Burlington County Regional High School, in New Jersey, Class of 1986. She attended Austin Peay State University and was in the Air Force ROTC program. She enjoyed employment with Electrolux as a material handler.

She loved spending time with her family and friends. All who knew and loved her will sorely miss her presence and beautiful smiling face.

On Wednesday, August 26, 2026, Rosalyn departed this life to be with the Lord.

She leaves precious memories to be cherished by her son, Demetrius Brown; mother, Katherine Ellis-Wells; brother, Develin Wells; father of her son, Demertius Antonio Lavette Stockard; aunts: Margie Daniels-Holt (Harry), Lucy Ellis-Wright; uncles: William. H. (Renee) Ellis, Jr., Michael G. Ellis, Patrick Ellis, and a host of cousins, extended family and friends.
