Ronnie Majors

February 4, 1955 — July 19, 2021

Ronnie Lee, son to Hardy Majors and Elizabeth Hoosier Majors, was born on February 4, 1955 in Clarksville, Tennessee. He is preceded in death by his parents. He accepted Christ as his personal Savior at an early age and was a dedicated member of Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church. Ronnie received his formal education in the Clarksville-Montgomery County School System, where he attended the Historic Burt High School and was a graduate of Clarksville High School with the Class of 1972. He attended Austin Peay State University, graduating with a Degree in Social Science. While living in Chicago, IL, Ronnie was employed with the US Post Office with duties in the mail room before retiring with many years of faithful service. He loved spending time with family and friends, dancing, play cards, laughing and having a good time. All who knew and loved him will sorely miss his smiling face. On Monday, July 19, 2021, Ronnie answered God’s beckoning call to cease from his earthly labors and entered into his Master’s joy. Precious memories are left to be shared by his brother, Wayne Majors and sister, Betty Majors Shields, both of Clarksville, TN; aunts: Margaret Nicholson, Chicago, IL and Annie Majors McCrae, El Paso, TX; uncle, Bobby Majors, Indianapolis, IN and a host of other relatives and friends. Memorial Service 11:00 a.m. Saturday, July 24, 2021 at Foston Memorial Chapel.
