Ronald Townsend

Ronald Townsend, son to Jackie Townsend and Nina M Stoner, entered this world on Wednesday, May 9, 1962.

He accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior at an early age and was a former member of St. John Baptist Church.

Ronald received his formal education in the Clarksville-Montgomery County School System, and he was a graduate of Northeast High School, Class of 1981. He served in the U.S. Army Reserve.

Affectionately called “Ron” by family and friends, he was always a kind and gentle person. He enjoyed gardening, cooking, and family gatherings. He had a special and different relationship with each member of his family. He also just loved having friends around. It’s with lots of sorrow and full hearts that we wish Ronald farewell.

On Saturday, June 13, 2026, Ronald departed this world to be with the Lord.

He leaves to cherish precious memories his mother, Nina M. Doss;sister, Linda Doss, Clarksville, TN; brothers: Gary Townsend, Del Rio, TX, Brett M. Townsend, Clarksville, TN and Mendell W. Doss, Columbus, OH; aunts: Sheila Lynch and Linda (Jim) Thomas; uncle, Ruben Osborne, and a host of other relatives and friends.
