Ronald Wayne began his earthly journey on Sunday, October 27, 1963, son to Myles Edward Dowlen, Jr., and Ruby Lee Cage-Dowlen in Springfield, Tennessee. His parents and four brothers: Nathaniel Dowlen, Jesse-Glenn Dowlen, Wylie Dowlen and Willie Herman Dowlen preceded him in death.
He accepted Christ as his personal Lord and Savior at an early age and was a member of Nevels Chapel Missionary Baptist Church.
Ronald was educated in the Clarksville-Montgomery County School System where he was a graduate of Clarksville High School with the Class of 1982. He enjoyed employment with Care Line as a Supervisor.
On July 20, 2007, Ronald united in holy matrimony with the love of his life, Machell Sebree and together they were the proud parents of two sons.
He loved spending time with his wife, grandkids, his siblings and friends. He enjoyed hosting or attending family functions and gatherings. He loved playing softball, was an avid hunter and a huge Pittsburgh Steelers fan. All who knew and loved him will sorely miss his presence and smiling face.
On Friday, April 18, 2025, Ronald departed this life to be with the Lord.
He leaves precious memories to be cherished with his wife, Machell Dowlen; sons: Joshua (Krista) Hudson, Elkton, KY, and Tremayne Sebree, Michigan; four grandchildren; sisters: Mattie Brown and Gwen Smith; brothers: James Russell Dowlen, Sr., Frank (Waulnetta) Dowlen, all of Clarksville, TN and Donald (Catherine) Dowlen, Hopkinsville, KY; sister-in-law, Sylvia Darnell Dowlen; aunt, Shirley (Phillip) Stevenson; uncle, Willie Thompson, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
