Robert DeMarieo DeSean Locke

March 13, 1987 — February 4, 2023

Robert DeMarieo DeSean, son to Robert Locke, Jr., and Kathy LaTanya Poindexter, was born on March 13, 1987 in Clarksville, Tennessee. His maternal grandmother: Adele Poindexter, maternal grandfather, Leslie “Shank” Poindexter,  paternal grandmother, Elouise Locke, paternal grandfather, Willie Green and several aunts and uncles proceeded him in death.

 

He accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and Savior at an early age and was a member of Abundant Life Outreach Church.

 

He was educated in the Clarksville-Montgomery County School System and was a graduate of Kenwood High School with the Class of 2005. He was  employed with the City of Jackson, TN Highway Department and a member of the Road Crew.

 

“Rio” as he was affectionately called by family and friends enjoyed spending time with them. He was an avid shoe collector. He loved playing baseball, football, basketball and serving as a Little League Baseball Coach. He was passionate about cars and enjoyed collecting the classics. All who knew and loved him will sorely miss his presence and smiling face.

 

On Saturday, February 4, 2023, “Rio” departed this life and entered into eternal peace.

 

He leaves precious memories to be cherished by his devoted mother, Kathy Poindexter, Clarksville, TN; father, Robert Locke, Jr., Clarksville, TN; daughter, Khloe Locke; son, Robert DeMarieo DeSean Locke, Jr.; sisters: LaCresha Locke, Clarksville, TN, Quel Duru, Rockhill, NC, Selina Locke and Patricia Locke, both of Germany; brothers: James Poindexter, Clarksville, TN, Brian Moore, Rockhill, SC and Robert Moore, Bear, DE; aunts: Faye Norris, Joyce Hardy, June Thomas, Ella (Arthur) June and Janie Adams; uncles: Johnny Locke and Charles Locke; devoted companion, Katherine Hayes and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and friends
