Robert Garrett

Robert Lee Garrett began his earthly journey on Sunday, February 16, 1941, son toloving parents Harry Garrett and Odessa Perkins Garrett in Montgomery County, Tennessee. His parents and sister, Samella Montgomery preceded him in death.

He accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and Savior at an early age. He was a faithful member of Mt. Pisgah Missionary Baptist Church, Trenton, Kentucky serving as a member of the Deacon Board, facilities manager/janitor, and groundskeeper.

Robert attended public schools in Montgomery County, Tennessee. He enjoyed employment with the Trane Company for 31 years before retiring.

He loved spending time with his family and friends. He enjoyed participating in Church activities and playing cards. All who knew and loved him will sorely miss his presence.

On Monday, July 6, 2026, Robert departed this life to be with the Lord.

He leaves to cherish precious memories his daughters: Tanya White, DeLinda (Timothy) Gold, Tracy Garrett, Melissa Thomas, Latina (Demont) Mimms, Lela (Bobby) Little and bonus daughter, Carmen Dennis; brother, Hurley Garrett, all of Clarksville, TN; 16 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, two bonus grandchildren; beloved friend, Cathy Dennis and a host of other relatives and friends.
