Visitation Friday, September 1, 2017 12:00 p.m.-7:00 pm.with the family present 5:00 p.m.7:00 p.m. at Foston funeral Home. Funeral service 1:00 p.m. Saturday, September 2, 2017 at First Missionary Baptist Church. Burial 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 5, 2017 at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery-West, Hopkinsville, KY. He was born August 17, 1934 in Hopkinsville, KY to Omar Quarles, Sr and Josephine Fleming Quarles, who precede him in death. He was a member of First Missionary Baptist Church and retired from Trane. He leaves to cherish his loving memories wife Lillie Eldridge Quarles; daughter, Jacqueline (Robert "Bud") Minor; sons, John Quarles and Ricky Quarles; grandchildren, DeAndra (Toyna) Quarles, Richard Quarles and Jasmine Ballard; great grandchildren, Kenneth Taylor, Arina Watkins, Jalan Hooks and Aaliyel Quarles; sisters, Cornelia Watkins, Frances Quarles and Hester Quarles; brother George (Dessie) Quarles and a host of family and friends.
