Rev. Joe E. Fletcher, Sr age 90 of Clarksville went to be with the Lord Tuesday, October 18, 2022. Visitation Tuesday, October 25, 2022, 12:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m. with the family present 5:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m. at Foston Funeral Home. Celebration of Life 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 26, 2022, at Ebenezer AME Church. Interment Middle Tennessee Veteran Cemetery, Nashville, TN.
Rev. Fletcher was born October 25, 1931 in Montgomery County to Earl Fletcher and Josephine Elliott Fletcher. He was a graduate of Historic Burt High School. He is preceded in death by his wife Georgia F. Fletcher, daughter, Regina Cowan, brothers, John Fletcher, Sr, Elias Fletcher, Sr and George Fletcher.
He leaves to cherish his loving memories sons, Joe E. Fletcher, Jr, Christopher W. Fletcher, Sr, Ryan K. Fletcher all of Clarksville, TN and Danny Fletcher; 5 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; sisters, Betty Largin and Ruth Williams both of Clarksville, TN, a host of family and friends.
