Regenia K. Moody

Regenia Kathleen began her earthly journey on Saturday, March 13, 1948 in Ashland City, Cheatham County, Tennessee, the daughter of Amos Bowers and Helen Elliott Farley. Her father preceded her in death.

She accepted Christ as her personal Lord and Savior at an early age at St. Paul AME Church, Ashland City, TN and was a member of Second Baptist Church in Ashland City, TN. Regenia received her education in the Cheatham County Public School System and was a graduate of Cheatham County High School with the Class of 1966. She enjoyed employment as a receiving clerk with Goodwill Industries on Madison.

In 1994, she united in holy matrimony with the love of her life, Jerome K. Moody and together they were a blended family with five children.

Regenia was a devoted and loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt and cousin who loved spending time with family and friends. She never met a stranger and enjoyed helping other people. She loved working with flowers and shopping. She was a beautiful soul with a heart of gold. All who knew and loved her will sorely miss her presence and beautiful smiling face.

On Tuesday, February 6, 2024, Regenia’s earthly journey ended peacefully as she entered into the Master’s joy.
