Pearlie Mae Patterson began her earthly journey on Thursday, November 12, 1942, in Clarksville, Tennessee to loving parents, Alexander Patterson and Lula Mae Smith-Patterson. She is preceded in death by her daughters, Gwendolyn “Lisa’ Patterson and Beverly Patterson.
She accepted Christ as her personal Lord and Savior at an early age and was a member of Greater St. James Baptist Church.
Pearlie Mae received her formal education in the Montgomery County School System. She worked her one and only job as a shift leader/supervisor in the food service industry on Fort Campbell Army Base for over 42 years, attending through rain, sleet or snow.
She was a strong woman who loved her family and taking long leisurely rides in the country. She raised eight children, enjoyed listening to music, talking to her friends on the phone, playing the lottery and going out to dance. All who knew and loved her will sorely miss her presence and beautiful smiling face.
On Thursday, August 28, 2025, Pearlie Mae’s earthly journey ended as she transitioned to be with the Lord.
She leaves precious memories to be cherished and shared by her children: Antone Groves, Cleo Patterson, Lorene Patterson, Maggie Majors, Suvenia Anderson, Nigolda Dewberry, all of Clarksville, TN; eight grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren and nine great-great-grandchildren; brothers: Terry Joe Patterson, Danny Ray Patterson, Lawrence Patterson, Scott Patterson, Wilbur Patterson and Leon Patterson, all of Clarksville, TN; aunts: Ann Fletcher and Darlene Jones and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
