Ora Bell Glover, daughter of Sandy and Willetra Johnson Meriwether, was born into this world on February 8,1936 in Clarksville, Tennessee. She is preceded in death by both parents and brothers: James Meriwether and Sandy Meriwether, Jr.

She spent her early years of life traveling throughout the states from Clarksville, TN to Chicago, IL, Philadelphia, PA and Detroit, MI. She eventually came back to Clarksville, TN to be surrounded by her family and worked in the dry cleaning business. She gave her life to Christ and joined Springhill Missionary Baptist Church where she sang in the choir and served as an usher.
Ora Bell peacefully lived out her last few years in the Greenhill Rehabilitation Center, where they even started a therapy program in her honor, based on the love she had for taking care of her babydoll.
Left to cherish her memory are her sisters: Jean Searcy, Culloden, GA, Ruby Horne and Mamie (Isaiah) Minor, all of Clarksville, TN; nieces: Virginia Brooks, Carolyn Smith and Debra (Anthony) Blue; nephews: James Edward Cobb and James Meriwether, Jr.; grand-nieces and grand-nephews: Kailand Bacon, Kashona Majors, Dontavius Jones, Teneka Jones, Giovanni Rodriguez and Kendall O’Berry; great-grand-nieces and great-grand-nephews: Kamore Ellis Majors, Quadir Drakeford and Kobe Majors and an abundance of cousins and friends.
