Mrs. Frances Johnson

Frances “Lucille” Collier Johnson, age 102, passed peacefully at her residence Saturday, January 14, 2023. 
Visitation Friday, January 20, 2023, 12:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m. with the family present 5:00p.m.-7:00 p.m. at Foston Funeral Home. Funeral service 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 21, 2023, at Foston Funeral Home. Interment Resthaven Memorial Gardens. 
Frances was born to the union of the late Freda and Robert C. Collier in Waverly, TN on March 13, 1920. She was married for 47 years to Dorris W. Johnson Sr., She was employed with Clarksville Montgomery County School System. She was a member of the Civitan Club - Clarksville Chapter and a longtime member of the Trenton Crossing Church of Christ.
Frances is preceded in death by her husband, Dorris Johnson Sr.; brother Dorsey Collier; sisters Ada Mitchell, Lilli “Ozell” Griggs and Ruby Cabell. 
She is survived by daughters Frances (Bill) Beeman and Freda Johnson both of Ann Arbor, MI; son Dorris W. Johnson Jr. of Troy, MI; devoted son and caregiver, John Johnson of Clarksville, TN; grandchildren Edward and Elise West; great-grandchildren Veliza, Josiah, Maya, Keturah; several nieces and nephews.
