Funeral service 11:00 a.m. Friday, January 29, 2016 at Fifth Ward Missionary Baptist Church 900 Franklin St Clarksville, TN 37040. Burial Kentucky Veterans Cemetery-West, Hopkinsville, KY. She was born March 19, 1922 in Christian Co. to the late John T. Kendrick, Sr and Sallie Majors Kendrick. She was married to the late Herman Ellis, to this union two daughters were born, Linda and Patricia Ellis. She is preceded in death by her brothers, George Whitfield Kendrick and John Kendrick, Jr her sisters, Mattie Sue Lockert and Luticia Davis, Mildred Crowder-Martin and Hyburnia Quarles. She leaves to cherish her loving memory husband Lynwood Williams; daughters, Linda Ellis White and Patricia Ellis (Roy) Jeffries both of Clarksville, TN; stepdaughter, Stefania Williams, Pennsawken, NJ; stepson, Dennis (Leslie) Williams, Skippers, VA; grandchildren, Adrienne White, Brian (Rianna) White and Tamra Jeffries; stepgrandchildren, Paula Pittman, Karyssa Roberts and Jhafania( Adam) Lawson; great-grandchildren, Bethany Hampton, Jon White, Elijah Darling, Micai Grant and Nicolas White; step great - grandchildren, Briona Pittman, Christian Lawson, Jhamauri Lawson, Brooklyn Lawson and Dallas Lawson and great-great grandchild, Jayden Collins and a host of family and friends.
