Martha Nell Majors Parker age 74 of Clarksville, passed away Sunday, February 14, 2016. Visitation Friday, February 19, 2016 12:00 noon-7:00 p.m. with the family present 5:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m. at Foston Funeral Home. Funeral service 12:00 noon Saturday, February 20, 2016 at Concord Missionary Baptist Church. Burial Resthaven Memorial Garden. She was born July 13, 1941 in Clarksville to the late Sam Majors and Earl Pettus Majors. She was a 1960 graduate of Burt High School. She was a member of Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church where she served in the Lottie Smith Missionary Society, sanctuary choir and culinary committee. She was a member of American Legion Ladies Auxiliary, Unit #143, Burt High Reunion Association, American Legion Girls State and Montgomery County Democratic Women. She is preceded in death by her husband Robert Parker and daughter Patricia Jones. She leaves to cherish her precious memories daughter, Pricilla Thompson; god- daughter, Ela'ana Holmes- Talley; step-daughter, Diane Parker; step-sons, Otis (Billie Jean) Parker, Robert Parker, Jr and Ray Parker;grandchildren, Antonio (Nakia) Jarrett, TanTishia (DePatrick) Mitchell, Fredrick Jones, Alexander Thompson, Shanice Thompson, Delvon Thompson, Dominique (Ebony) Thompson, Phiwo (Tina) Suggs and Shama'an Talley sister, Annie Majors McRae; brother, Bobby Lewis Majors and son-in-law, Van Jarrett, III, 20 great-grandchildren, and a host of family and friends.
