Lisa Ann entered this life on Tuesday, February 20, 1962 in Greenville County, South Carolina, the daughter of Cecil Long and Ruth Watson. Her parents preceded her in death.

She accepted Jesus Christ as her personal Savior at an early age.

Lisa was educated in the Greenville County School System where she graduated from Mauldin High School with the Class of 1979. After relocating to Clarksville, Tennessee, she enjoyed employment with 5-Points/Greenwood Market.

In 1988 Lisa was married to Vincent Merriweather and this union was blessed with six children.

Lisa loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, and friends. She was a woman of peace, integrity, and love. All who knew and loved her will sorely miss her presence and beautiful smile.

On Thursday, September 24, 2026, Lisa departed this life to be with the Lord.

She leaves to cherish precious memories her daughters: Alyson Merriweather, Evelyn Merriweather, Sarah Merriweather; sons: Benjamin (Jaclyn) Plumley, Bryan Merriweather and David Merriweather; granddaughters: Aleighsia, Ery’Ana, Ah’Liyah, Aubre’Yana, Caye’Leigh Merriweather, Alicia, Jazmine, Ashleigh Plumley, Tyanna Simpson, Jamaya Turner, Lah’Launie Driver; grandsons: Kristopher, Jeremyah, Amir, Kaman, X’Zavior Merriweather, Quadair Quailes, Bryan and Jayson Simpson; three great-grandchildren; sister, Kathy Long; mother-in-law, Mary Palmer and a host of other relatives and friends.
