Lenora Hardy Allen (Pokey) age 92, of Clarksville, passed away June 5, 2016 at Alvie Hospice in Nashville, TN. Visitation Friday, June 10, 2016 12:00 noon-7:00 p.m. with the family present 5:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m. at Foston Funeral Home. Celebration of Life 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 11, 2016 at Concord Missionary Baptist Church. Burial Concord Memorial Garden. Visitors will be accepted at 3871 Benjamin Drive, Clarksville, TN 37040. Lenora was born October 7, 1923 in Christian County, Kentucky to Icelia Hardy and Elizabeth Thomas Hardy, who preceded her in death. She is also preceded in death by her husband Floyd Allen, Sr, sisters, Louise Moss and Nannie Meriwether and brother, Eddie Hardy. Lenora leaves to cherish her memories sons, Floyd (Gertude) Allen, Jr, of Nashville, TN, Dr. Donald Ray (Lena) Allen, Ft. Washington, MD;daughters, Zelema (James) Hoosier, St. Louis, MO and Jennifer Allen, Clarksville, TN; sister, Sarah Shaw, Indianapolis, IN; brother, Anthony Graves, Clarksville, TN and 4 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren and a host nieces and nephews and family and friends.
