LaSandra Merriweather

LaSandra, the daughter of the late Alex Lewis and Lillian Frances Holmes entered this life on Wednesday, February 22, 1956 in Clarksville, Tennessee. In addition to her parents, her sisters: Regina Lewis and Dorothy Riley and brother, Roy Holmes preceded her in death.

She accepted Jesus Christ as her personal Lord and Savior at an early age and was a member of Greater Love Kingdom Building Church,

LaSandra received her education in the Clarksville-Montgomery County School System where she attended Clarksville High School.

In 1974 she united in holy matrimony with Porter Merriweather and they were the proud parents of two sons.

LaSandra loved spending time with her family and friends. She felt pure joy watching her grands and great grands run around. She enjoyed grilling, softball and playing cards. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

On Thursday, February 26, 2026, LaSandra departed this life to be with the Lord.

She leaves to cherish precious memories, her husband, Porter Merriweather; sons: Derrick DeWayne (Carol) Merriweather and Antonio Rodriquez Merriweather; goddaughter, LaFina Merriweather, all of Clarksville, TN; seven grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren; sisters: Patsy Pace and Tammy Pinkston, both of Clarksville, TN; brothers: Ronnie Lewis, Nashville, TN and Donald Lewis, Crestview FL; best friends: Loretta Scott, Mary Brown and Aubri Brown and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
