LaKeith Antjuan., son to Ira Batiste, Sr., and Ginger Pace, entered this life on September 13, 1976. His father, brother, Demarcus Curtis; grandparents: Iona Pace, Stanley Batiste, Sr., Lewis Pace, Jr., and Anderson Barker; aunts: Sandra Pace and Vickie Pace and uncle, Stanley Batiste, Jr., preceded him in death.
He accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and Savior at an early age and united with New Hope Missionary Baptist Church.
LaKeith received his education in the Clarksville-Montgomery County School System and was a graduate of Clarksville High School, Class of 1995. While in high school, he was a standout athlete, excelling in football, basketball, and baseball. He was a graduate of Miller Motte College earning his CDL License. He enjoyed employment with Penske Logistics as an over-the-road semi-truck driver.
In 2002, LaKeith and Jenniffer united in holy matrimony and enjoyed 24 years of wedded bliss.
He always talked about how good he was in basketball, football, and baseball, most importantly. He enjoyed playing cards. He loved watching all of his kids play sports and playing “36” with them. He loved swimming and taking his kids to the pool, he was a fish! He always talked about fixing up his Cadillac. He had a sweet tooth and loved sweets. He enjoyed riding motorcycles, chilling at the “Pit;” having Keith, Jr., (son) cut his hair and playing with his kids ears. All who knew and loved him will sorely miss his presence.
On Tuesday, June 30, 2026, LaKeith answered God’s beckoning call to cease from his earthly labors and entered into the Master’s joy.
He leaves to cherish precious memories his wife, Jenniffer Pace; daughters: Karleshianey Pace, Nashville, TN, and Keithyania Pace, Grand Forks, ND; sons: LaKeith Pace, Jr., Murray, KY, Kayden Pace, and Karlwin (Kelsey) Mendez-Pace, all of Clarksville, TN; mother, Ginger Pace, Clarksville, TN; brothers: Ashton Batiste, Atlanta, GA, Ira Batiste, Jr., Bogalusa, LA; brother-in-law, Jorge Reyes, Murray, KY; grandmother, Ethel Batiste Henry, Bogalusa, LA; aunts: Derana “Dee” Batiste-Newton, Cheryl Batiste and Marva Lois Mark; uncles: Larry (Jimmie Lee) Pace, James Pace, Lewis Pace III, Dwayne Pace, Mark Pace, Willie Batiste, Ralph Batiste and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
