Joyce Quintell, daughter to Williams Henry Jones, Jr., and Eureathia Jones, was born on Monday, May 22, 1950 in Clarksville, Tennessee. Her son, Charles P. Wisdom, Jr.; parents and sister, Ann Allen preceded her in death.

She gave her life to Christ at an early age and was the oldest longstanding member of Springhill Missionary Baptist Church where she faithfully served as a member of the Usher Board and sang in the choir.

Joyce received her education in the Clarksville-Montgomery County School System where she attended and graduated from the Historic Burt High School with the Class of 1968. She enjoyed employment with the Trane Company for 36 years before retiring. After retiring from Trane, she took a position at Tennova Hospital in the Hospitality Department and retired after seven years.

A devoted mother, grandmother, and friend who loved spending time with them. She also enjoyed watching “Lifetime” movies on television and taking trips to the casino. All who knew and loved her will sorely miss her presence and beautiful smile.

On Monday, August 31, 2026, Joyce departed this life to be with the Lord.

She leaves precious memories to be cherished by her daughter, Nashea Wisdom; sons: Venture Acklin and Jamar Acklin, all of Clarksville, TN; eight grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends.
