Jesenia
Davis
May 26, 2013 — Sep 8, 2026
Fort Campbell
Jesenia was born on May 26, 2013, in Columbus, Georgia, to her loving parents, Evan and Cordilia Acree. From the very beginning, Jesenia brought a special light into the lives of those around her. Affectionately known as “Honey,” she was a young lady whose vibrant personality, loving heart, and unforgettable spirit touched everyone fortunate enough to know her.
Jesenia was funny, creative, adventurous, competitive, loving, and fiercely protective of those she held dear. She possessed a beautiful confidence and a personality all her own. She loved deeply, laughed freely, and embraced life with enthusiasm. Whenever Honey would say, “I have an idea,” her family knew that an adventure was likely to follow.
Jesenia shared an especially precious bond with her parents. She was proudly a daddy’s girl and believed that Valentine’s Day was a special occasion created especially for her and her daddy. With her mother, she treasured the simple moments that became some of life's most meaningful memories, especially their times singing together in the car and transforming ordinary drives into joyful concerts.
She was equally proud of her special place within her extended family. Jesenia cherished being Granny Crystal’s only granddaughter and embraced that title with great pride. She was also on her way to becoming her mother’s Legacy, a role she carried with love and purpose.
A young woman of many talents and interests, Jesenia expressed herself through creativity and the arts. She loved anime, drawing, chorus, and drama. She participated in competitive cheerleading, played basketball at Passage Middle School in Virginia, and was proud to be a Rhoer. Jesenia was naturally competitive and welcomed a challenge, always determined to give her best.
She also knew what she liked and was never shy about expressing it. Among her favorite foods were seafood boils and Takis, two favorites that became part of the many everyday memories her family will forever treasure.
As the only daughter among four brothers, Jesenia held a unique and treasured place within her family. Each of her brothers shared a special bond with her.
With Khristian Ferguson, Jesenia shared her love of anime and drawing. She was also a proud aunt to his daughter, Heaven Copeland, and especially cherished the resemblance she saw between herself and Heaven.
Jesenia and Dominik Ferguson shared similar personalities and an adventurous spirit. Their family quickly learned that when Jesenia announced that she had an idea, they should be prepared for anything. One unforgettable adventure even resulted in Nik spending time in the hospital, a memory that, despite the circumstances, became part of the family stories they will carry with them forever.
She was a devoted supporter of Kyre Ferguson, rarely missing his basketball games. Jesenia was one of his most passionate defenders and could hold a lasting grudge against anyone who fouled her brother. Her love for him was fierce, unwavering, and unmistakable.
With Donovan Acree, the little brother she had prayed for, Jesenia treasured their movie nights and embraced the role of big sister with great pride. She loved having him in her life and cherished the special bond they shared.
Jesenia's heart extended far beyond her immediate family. Her godparents, Marquette and ReNata Anthony, held a treasured place in her life. From the age of two, Jesenia proudly proclaimed that her godmother, ReNata, was her best friend, making sure that everyone around her knew just how special that relationship was.
Though her earthly journey lasted only 13 years, Jesenia left an everlasting impression upon the hearts of all who knew her. Her life was filled with family, friendship, music, creativity, laughter, adventure, competition, and love. She had a remarkable ability to make memories wherever she went, and those memories will now become treasured reminders of the beautiful young girl she was.

Forever Remembered

Her family finds comfort in knowing that while her physical presence is no longer with them, the love she gave, the memories she created, and the beautiful spirit she shared will remain in their hearts forever.
