Ivy Anitha, daughter to Samuel Watson and the late Marguerite Johnson-Watson, began her earthly journey on Monday, September 20, 1965.

She was a graduate of Alexander M. Patch American High School with the Class of 1983. She also graduated from Austin Peay State University with a Bachelor of Science Degree. Throughout her lifetime she enjoyed employment with Blanchfield Army Community Hospital as a referrals clerk and after many years of dedicated service retired on September 1, 2018.

Ivy loved spending time with her family and friends. She enjoyed spoiling her grandchildren, singing, and reading. She never met a stranger and always greeted you with her beautiful smile. All who knew and loved her will sorely miss her presence.

On Monday, June 1, 2026, Ivy Anitha’s earthly journey ended as she transitioned to be with the Lord.

She leaves to cherish precious memories her devoted daughters: Marguerite L’AniseArmstead and Lauren Renee Armstead; five grandchildren; father, Samuel Watson, all of Clarksville, TN; sister, Michelle (Andrew) Dykes, Otterberg, Germany; two brothers: Samuel Watson, Jr., and Alan Watson, both of Clarksville, TN; aunts: Mattie Harvey, Margaret (Melvin) Lee, Kerry (Johnny) Bush and Eleanor Johnson Ogle; uncles: Larry (Karen) Jackson, Wayne (Gwendolyn) Jackson, and a host of other relatives and friends.
