Harry Galbreath, Jr

Harry Creed Galbreath, Jr., born Saturday, December 21, 1946, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 19, 2026, leaving behind a lifetime of memories, love, laughter, and family.

Harry was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He loved his family deeply and found joy in the simple things in life. He especially enjoyed watching football and television, and he cherished the time spent surrounded by the people he loved.

He leaves to cherish his memory his beloved wife, Elizabeth Galbreath; his daughter, Angela Galbreath (Steve) Hudson. He is also remembered by his grandchildren: Taylor (Jalen) Hudson-Thompson, Lathaniel (Benita)Walker, Sr., Tyrone McKeage, Jonathan Marshall and DeJuan Galbreath. He was also blessed with many great-grandchildren; son-in-law, Rev. Thomas Ligon, Jr., and numerous other family members and friends who held a special place in his heart.

Harry was preceded in death by his son. Harry Galbreath; daughter, Crystal Ligon; grandson, Stevenson Hudson, II, his parents, Harry Creed Galbreath and Myrtle Louise Outlaw-Galbreath; and sister, Loretta Galbreath-Jones.

Though his chair may now be empty and his voice may be missed, Harry’s love will continue to live on through the family he cherished and the many lives he touched. His memory will remain in the stories shared, the lessons remembered, the laughter that carries on, and the love that will never fade.

Harry Creed Galbreath, Jr., will be deeply missed and forever loved. His family takes comfort in knowing that his legacy continues through his children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, family, and friends.
