Gene Hawkins

Age 75 passed away Thursday, May 17, 2018. Visitation Thursday, May 24, 2018 11:00 a.m.-1:00 P.M. with the funeral to follow at 1:00 p.m. at Guildfield Missionary Baptist Church. Interment Lester Chapel Cemetery. He was born July 4, 1942 in Montgomery County to Will Henry Hawkins and Elnora Williams.He is preceded in death by his wife, Annie Sue Quarles Hawkins, parents, grandchildren, Jasmine Mimms, Todasha and Tomorro Quarles, brothers, Jesse Hawkins and Joe Williams. He leaves to cherish his loving memories daughters, Beverly (Cedric) Porter, Louisville, KY, Angela Hawkins, Springfield, TN, LaQuita (Greg) Talley, Carol Farrie, Amy Bell and Joquela Smalls all of Guthrie, KY; sons, Derrick (Meca) Quarles, Russellville, KY, Spencer (Sheila) Quarles, Oak Grove, KY, Marlon (Tamika) Quarles, Hopkinsville, KY, Robert Bell, Guthrie, KY and Melvin (Jammie) Ferguson, Clarksville, TN; sisters, Laura Lee, Viola (Nelson) Toney, Linda ( Billy) Williams, Delphia (Dudley) Ligon, Hattie (Robert) Quarles, Lottie Hawkins, Sonja (Theodore) Glass, Anna Bell Hawkins, Lillian (Bengy) Grimes and Shemika (Eric) Britton; brothers, Thomas Meriwether, Odell Williams, Darnell Williams, Richie V. Hawkins, Jeffery Cobb and Kirk D. Hawkins 30 grandchildren and a host of great grandchildren and 4 brothers-in law and 5 sisters-in-law and a host of family and friends.
