Eyvonne Rogers

Eyvonne Irene, entered this life on Friday, December 7, 1956 in Clarksville, Montgomery County, Tennessee, the daughter of Solie Skelton and Mary Barker Skelton. Her parents and three siblings: Temple Skelton, Rosie Skelton and Solie Skelton, Jr., preceded her in death.

She received her education in the Clarksville-Montgomery County School System and attended Clarksville High School. She was self-employed as a domestic worker.

Affectionately called “Bonnie” by loved ones and friends, she was the heart and soul of many people, and she will be dearly missed. She was known for her hearty laugh, smile and kind heart. Before her death, she made it known she wanted us all to share a laugh and smile in celebration of her journey home..

Our beloved mother and grandmother, Eyvonne Rogers, passed away on April 9, 2025 after a short illness.

She leaves to cherish precious memories her three children: Takisha Rogers, Stacey Rogers, both of Clarksville, TN and Marquintus Rogers, Meeks, AL; she was grandmother to six beautiful grandchildren and great-grandmother to one beautiful great-granddaughter; sisters: Sarah Kelly, Mary Parham, both of Clarksville, TN and Joann (Ron) Epps, Fayetteville, NC, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
