Dorothy Roberts Whittington

Age 75 of Clarksville passed away Thursday, August 23, 2018. Visitation Tuesday, August 28, 2018 12:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m. with the family present 5:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m. at Foston Funeral Home. Funeral service 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 29, 2018 at St. Peter African Methodist Episcopal Church 518 Franklin St, Clarksville, TN 37040. Interment Foston Memorial Gardens. She was born September 15, 1942 in Clarksville to Julian Francis Roberts and Gladys Floyd Roberts Jones. She was employed with the State of Tennessee. She is preceded in death by her daughter, Cheryl K. Whittington and her parents. She leaves to cherish her loving memories daughters, Sharon K. Whittington, Lanise (Dwayne) Collins, both of Clarksville, TN and Sheila W. Bush, Nashville, TN; son, Grover G. (Jacqueline) Whittington, Jr,  Nashville, TN; aunt, Ernestine Turner and 7 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.
