DeSergio Brandell was born on August 27, 1987 to Helen Taylor in Clarksville, Montgomery County, TN. His grandfather, James Taylor and aunt Mary A. Mitchell preceded him in death.

He accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and Savior at an early age. DeSergio received his education in the Montgomery County School System and was a graduate of Kenwood High School. He was employed as a laborer with Mattress Firm.

A loving son, father, brother and uncle, he loved spending time with his family and friends. He enjoyed cooking, watching football and spending time in the gym working out. All who knew and loved him will sorely miss his smiling face and presence.

On Wednesday, January 15, 2020, DeSergio departed this life to be with the Lord.

He leaves to cherish precious memories his daughters: Destini Angelic LaTreece Taylor and Alana Nicole Allen; sons: DeSergio Brandell Taylor, Jr., and Tamareus Allen Taylor, all of Clarksville, TN; mother, Helen Taylor, Camden, TN; grandmother, Louise Taylor, Camden, TN; sisters: Levetris Spann and Spiritual Taylor, both of Clarksville, TN; brothers: Andravious Taylor, Clarksville, TN, Avis Jerrod White, Brownsville, TN and Jatwon M White, Memphis, TN; devoted companion, LaQuetta Allen; aunts: Gloria J. Taylor, Dorothy M. (Randy) Boyland and Rose McGee; uncles: Paul (Dee Dee Sims) Taylor, Oscar L. Taylor and George Mitchell; great-aunts: Katherine J. Cox, Alice N. Boyd, Linda Barbee, Lorine Taylor and Dorothy Boyd; great-uncles: Pete Stokes, John Drake, Eddie Taylor, Robert Taylor, Alanda Taylor, Don Taylor and Willie Taylor; nieces and nephews: Erionna Kilgore, Emanuel Morgan, Corian Spann, Jada Taylor and Darnell Dyson and a host of cousins and friends.
