DeQuaveion Orease, son to LaToria D. Richards Smith and Christian Moore, was born on Sunday, February 15, 2004 in Clarksville, Tennessee. His aunt, Danielle Richards Hornsby Gordon preceded him in death.
He accepted Christ as his personal savior at an early age and was a member of New Life Ministries. He loved church and enjoyed being a part of the music department praising God by beating the drums, smiling and bopping his head. His favorite passage of scripture: Proverbs 3:5-6.
He was a graduate of Hopkinsville High School, Class of 2022. He was employed with Hankook Tire Company.
Affectionately called “DQ” or “Quavo”, he was a very loving, goofy, caring, outgoing young man. He was a protector, provider, and loved his family dearly. Quavo didn’t play about his siblings and cousins. He loved them dearly and they loved him best. He was an awesome father, to know him was truly to love him. He was very athletic and a great lover of football (until he lost his best friend/brother on the same field he enjoyed). He was an awesome player. He had scholarships to play that he never accepted. He enjoyed being silly, keeping others laughing, but would give you the shirt off his back if you needed it. He always smiled and all who knew and loved him will sorely miss his presence and that smile.
On Wednesday, February 4, 2026, DeQuaveion departed this life to be with the Lord.
