Clifton Lewis Miller began his earthly journey on Monday, September 9, 1957, son to Clarence H. Miller. Sr., and Ruby V. Hatcher Miller in Clarksville, Tennessee. His parents; sister, Sarah Miller Northington; brothers: Clarence H. Miller, Jr., Larry R. Miller, Thomas D. Miller; close friends: Jamerica Wallace and Crow Hoosier preceded him in death.
He accepted Christ as his personal Savior at an early age and was a member of Mt. Nebo Missionary Baptist Church. His favorite scripture was Romans 8:38-39 (NKJV).
Clifton was educated in the Clarksville-Montgomery County School System where he attended and graduated from Clarksville High School, Class of 1975. He was self-employed as a club owner.
He was married to Jacquelan “Jackie” Yarbrough Miller.
Affectionately known as “Nippy”, he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, always bringing laughter and warmth to every gathering. His kindness and generosity touched many lives, and he was known for his unwavering support of those he cared about. He enjoyed playing cards with friends, cooking and Tennessee Titans football. All who knew and loved will sorely miss his presence and smiling face.
On Friday, January 2, 2026, Clifton went home to be with the Lord.
He leaves to cherish precious memories his wife, Jacquelan Miller; daughters: Cierra Vance, Jackson, TN and Birdie Scott, Nashville, TN; son, Jammera “Shawn” (Brenda) Webb, Clarksville, TN; 10 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; sisters: Shirley A. (Charles) Suggs, Ruby J. (James) Garrett, Cassandra J. (Charles) Galbreath, Patricia D. (Howard) Garrett, Cynthia D. (Shelton) Grant; brothers: Harold P. Miller, Sr., Ronnie Miller, George F. (Patricia) Miller and Anthony E. Miller; sister-in-law, Louise Miller; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, best friends: Ricky Kelly and Michael Radcliffe; extended family: Harriet Johnson, Peter and Chiquita Georges.
