Cameryn Ward

Cameryn Malik JaShaun Ward passed away unexpectedly at the age of 17 years old in Clarksville, Tennessee on March 29, 2024.

Cameryn, son to DeAndre Thomas and Jessica Nicole Ward, began his earthly journey on September 3, 2006, in Knoxville, Tennessee, where he spent most of his childhood. He later moved to Clarksville, Tennessee and attended Rossview High School; he was scheduled to graduate in May 2024.

Cameryn was a very talented basketball player, who played four years on the varsity team and one year on the football team.

Cameryn was a beloved son, grandson, brother and friend who showed love to all he met. All who knew and loved him will sorely miss his presence and beautiful smile. He is preceded in death by his grandfather, Eugene Gallaher and uncle, Jason Gallaher.

He leaves to cherish precious memories his mother, Jessica Nicole Ward, Clarksville, TN; father, DeAndre Thomas, Sr., Knoxville, TN; sisters: Moneisha Thomas, Simone Thomas, Yalana Thomas, Dalaylah Thomas, Cejoya Thomas, all of Knoxville, TN and Jamiracle Thomas, Nashville, TN; brothers: DeAndre Thomas, Jr., Messiah Canye Ward, Darrelle Octaivus Ward and Jeff Ward; grandparents: Mattie Gallaher, Jeff Ward and Mary Ward; aunts: Georgette Ward, Tanisha Ward and Glenda Ward; uncles: Donald Thomas, Tommy Hopper and host of other relatives and friends.
