Betty Holmes

Age 75 of Clarksville passed away Sunday, August 2,2020. Viewing Saturday, August 8, 2020 10:00 a.m.-12:45 p.m. at Foston Memorial Chapel. Funeral service 1:00 p.m. Saturday, August 8, 2020. Interment St. Paul Church Cemetery. Betty Jean Holmes was born on April 14, 1945 in New York, NY to Pauline Anthony. She is preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Henry Holmes, son, Joseph Washington and mother . She leaves to cherish loving memories to her children: Lumell Washington, Christopher Holmes, Regina Washington and Shanay; daughters-in-law: Fawn Washington and Tanya Burks, all of Clarksville, TN; nine grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren; sisters: Elizabeth , Washington, DC, Deborah Johnson, Baltimore, MD, Paula Anthony and Arlene Anthony, both of Clarksville, TN; brothers: Leslie  Anthony, New York, NY and Derrick Anthony, Baltimore, MD and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and lifelong friends.
