Berthenia Cross

Age 71  of  Clarksville.  Visitation Friday,  July 19, 2019  12:00 p.m.- 7:00 p.m.  with the  family present  5:00p.m.- 7:00  p.m. at  Foston  Funeral Home.  Funeral service 11:00 a.m. Saturday, July 20, 2019 at Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church. Interment  Riverview Cemetery. Berthenia L. “Tina” Cross was born January 15, 1948 in Clarksville, Montgomery County, TN to George Wesley Dowlen and Mary Thelma Oldham Dowlen Jackson,. She was a 1965 graduate of the Historic Burt High School and a former welder at Trane until her retirement in 2011 after 34 years of service. She leaves to cherish precious memories her son, Tim (Natalie) Cross, Chapel Hill, NC; daughters: Shevella (Michael) Wilson, McDonough, GA and Dezonia (Daniel) Williams, Lake Wales, FL; seven beautiful grandchildren: Mariah, Danielle, Deyzon, Keion, Tiana, Zachary and Keira; sisters: Birdie Cody, Atlantic City, NJ and Pat “Sissy” (Lucius) Smith, Clarksville, TN; brothers: Frank (Haydee) Dowlen and Bob Dowlen both of Clarksville, TN; New Covenant Holy Temple COGIC, Nashville, TN and a host of , cousins, nieces, nephews and dear friends.
