Funeral service 11:00 a.m. Thursday, March 30, 2017 at St. John Missionary Baptist Church. Burial Pegram Veterans Cemetery, Nashville, TN. She was born August 12, 1923 in Montgomery County to James Nick Batson and Alice Clark Batson. She was a member of Greater New Birth Jerusalem Ministries. She is preceded in death by her husband Pastor Robert L. Cook and 4 sister and 3 brothers. She leaves to cherish her loving memories daughters, Maxie D. Fredrick, Wanda M.(Pastor Robert) Gaines, both of Clarksville, TN, Linder D. (Frederick) Singletary, Stafford, VA and Barbara A. (Ramon, Sr) Rios, San Antonio, TX; son, Jake W. (Ruby N.) Haynes, Jr, Clarksville, TN; sisters, Erma Hockett and Jewel Burks, both of Clarksville, TN and 12 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great-grandchildren and a host of family and friends.
