Alyvia Louisea Morrison

Alyvia was born July 31,1953 to Sylvia Lee Goldman and Alvin Stroud in Nashville, TN. She is preceded in death by her son, Damon Jerome Lamar Morrison, Sr.; her mother, Sylvia Lee Goldman-Shephard; her brother, Walter Elijah Goldman and her aunt, Mary Alice Goldman.

Alyvia was a member of Greater St. James Missionary Baptist Church where she was a devoted member and a powerhouse vocalist.

Alyvia was educated in the Clarksville-Montgomery County School System and later attended Nashville Public Schools. Alyvia obtained her General Education Diploma on April 12,1982. She furthered her education with Miller-Motte College in Clarksville, TN where she obtained her Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) license. Alyvia was employed with Memorial Hospital in Clarksville, TN for several years. Alyvia also was employed by Grandma’s Kitchen in Oak Grove, KY; Service America in Nashville, TN and Mike’s Custom Tinting Plus in Clarksville, TN. Alyvia enjoyed cooking, singing, playing bingo and most importantly spending time with her family.

Alyvia Louisea Goldman Morrison 68 years young of Clarksville, TN transitioned from this life on February 12, 2022 and gained her wings at her residence surrounded by her loving family.

Alyvia leaves behind her cherished children: Micheal D. Thomas Sr., Hendersonville, TN, Kinisha N.S. Morrison, April C. Goldman, and Mary A. McClerkin, all of Clarksville, TN; grandchildren: Sherece L. Collins, Micheal D. (Ashtan) Thomas Jr., Damon J.L. Morrison, Jr., Darrius L. Morrison, Kristofer E.A. Morrison, Tyjiana Alyvia D. Morrison, all of Clarksville, TN, Jaden M. Thomas, Oklahoma, Arthur D. McClerkin Jr. and Mikel D.L. Thomas, Clarksville, TN and a host of great grandchildren. Alyvia also leaves behind her cherished siblings; Mary A. Goldman, Benjamin L. Shephard, both of Oceanside, CA, Alyce E. Bernal, Cincinnati, OH, Augusta M. Ogburn, Clarksville, TN, Terry H.  (Exelenar ) Goldman, Copperas Cove, TX and Ray Lee Shephard, Clarksville, TN and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends
