Alfred Hoosier, Sr Clarksville – Alfred I. Hoosier, Sr age 86 of Clarksville passed away Monday, December 25, 2017. Visitation Friday, December 29, 2017 9:00 a.m.-11:00 a.m. at Williams Chapel Missionary Baptist Church with the funeral service to follow at 11:00 a.m. Burial Resthaven Memorial Gardens. He was born November 23, 1931 in Montgomery County to Hart and Laura Whitfield Hoosier. He is preceded in death by his wife, Bernice Shaw Hoosier, sons, Irvin D. and Alfred I. Hoosier, Jr, his parents, siblings, Will Hoosier, Rose Johnson and Lillie Bell. He leaves to cherish his memories son, David Lynn Hoosier; daughters, Joyce Ann Smith, Gloria Diane (Andre') Sanders, Regina Hoosier, and Glenice (Lakina) Johnson; sister, Ruth Marie Minor; brother, Daniel Edward Hoosier; brother-in-law, Lloyd (Audrey) Shaw; sisters-in-law, Virdie Mae Shaw, and Sarah Shaw; grandchildren, Talicia Adams, Deshonda Adams and CaMariezz Sanders; great-grandson, Davon Jiles and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
