Albner Orlander, son to Almon Mallory and Lorene Bosley-Mallory, entered this life on Thursday, September 9, 1954 in Clarksville, Tennessee. He is preceded in death by his parents; two grandchildren: Timothy Sebree, Jr., Aniah Dennell Wilcox; great-grandchild, Shaniya Sebree and brother-in-law, Jeff Jefferies.
He accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and Savior at an early age and united with Mt. Nebo Missionary Baptist Church faithfully serving as a member of the Deacon Board, Male Chorus, Sons of Mt. Nebo, C.R.S.K.M.T.B.D.A. Treasurer, State and District Brotherhood and Education Department.
Albner received his education in the Clarksville-Montgomery County School System and was a graduate of Northwest High School, Class of 1972. Furthering his education, he attended Austin Peay State University and earned a Bachelor of Science Degree. He worked at the Trane Company as a Lead Supervisor. He enjoyed membership with Burning Bush #224; Star In The East #148; R.E. Boyd Chapter #14; A.M. Webb Counsel #10; G.C. Jenkins Commandery #25; Kelly Consistory #227; Hasan Temple #150; Harry J. Spencer Priory #4 KYCH; Omega Psi Phi Fraternity and General Q. Boyd Elk Lodge #457.
He united in holy matrimony with the love of his life, Elenora Garrett and they were the proud parents of three daughters.
Affectionately called “Bill” by loved ones, he loved spending time relaxing with his family and friends. He enjoyed singing, gardening, working crossword puzzles, traveling with his Masonic Group and watching “The Three Stooges” on Saturdays. All who knew and loved him will sorely miss his presence.
On Wednesday, August 6, 2025, Albner answered God’s beckoning call to cease from his earthly labors and entered into the Master’s joy.
He leaves to cherish precious memories his wife, Elenora G. Mallory; daughters: Kimberly (Timothy) Sebree, Smyrna, TN, Christina (DeShawn) Moody, Murfreesboro, TN and Cecilia (Antonio) Wells, Smyrna, TN; sisters: Galea Jeffries, Theresa (Michael) Powell, Kathy (Donnie) Hutchenson, Audrey Tooley, all of Clarksville, TN; aunt, Vanessa Williams; the Garrett Family and a host of other relatives and friends.
