Adrian "Gola" Bell

Adrian Nicole Bell, daughter to Aaron Bell and Ida Townsend Bell, was born on Sunday, June 21, 1970 in Clarksville, Tennessee. Her father, Aaron Bell; two sisters: Ruby Fisher, Avis Bell and two brothers: David Bell and Alvin Bell preceded her in death.

She gave her life to Christ at an early age at Spring Hill Missionary Baptist Church. Later in life she joined Concord Missionary Baptist Church where she was a faithful member singing in the choir.

Adrian received her education in the Clarksville-Montgomery County School System where she graduated from Clarksville High School with the Class of 1989. She was employed with Jostens as Team Leader before retiring in 2021.

She was nicknamed “Gola” by her sister Beverly, because “she always had a glow to her”. She was well-known for her compassionate heart and being lively and high-spirited. Adrian consistently prioritized the needs of others over her own by making charitable donations and always giving to others.

Helping others was one of Adrian’s passions. She also enjoyed cooking, decorating, singing, dancing, exercising, reading, poetry, spending time with her family, especially her grandbabies: Adrianna (11 months) and Noah Luther ( 5 years old). Adrian was well-loved and will forever be in our hearts.

On Thursday, November 16, 2023, Adrian’s earthly journey ended peacefully surrounded by loved ones.

She leaves precious memories to be cherished by her daughter, Ashley (Dominique) Luther; son: Juwan Bell; 2 grandchildren: Noah and Adrianna Luther; mother, Ida Townsend Bell; sisters: Beverly Butler, Diane Simmons, Denise Anthony and  Leslie (Chris) Young; devoted partner of many years Roger Williams;  and a great deal of nieces, nephews, as well as other relatives and friends including her longtime friends known as the “Valley Girls”.
