Age 83 of Clarksville passed away Friday, December 25, 2020. Viewing Tuesday, January 5, 2021 11:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. with the funeral service to follow at 12:00 p.m. at Foston Memorial Chapel. Interment Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West with full military honors.
He was born June 16, 1937 in Selma, AL to Ned Griffin and Ethel Hunter Griffin. He is preceded in death by his wife, Ersae D. Griffin and his parents, sister, Ethel Sadler, brothers, James, Ned, Willie, Jessie and Lawrence Griffin.
He leaves to cherish his memories daughters, Sytrina (Larry) Turner, Vine Grove, KY, Sarah (Antonio) Wiltshire, Phenix City, AL, Tammi Griffin (Jeremy) Henley, Severn, MD and Jarvina Griffin, Clarksville, TN; sons, Franklin (Cynthia) Griffin, Jr, Vallejo, CA and Jarvis Griffin, Clarksville, TN; 25 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
